This solid Cherry sideboard, designed to match some of the architectural detail of its home, serves primarily as a liquor cabinet. The arched rails of the doors are cut from a single piece of wood so that the grain patterns match from door to door. The drawer fronts are also cut from a single wood board so that the grain pattern runs the entire face of the piece. The drawers are constructed of hand-cut dovetails. The doors also have soft close hinges. This piece can be expected to darken to a rich, deep cherry wood hue finish as time and sunlight naturally age it.
